Smoking
The Cornell pledges property-wide adherence to a non smoking policy. We ask that our guests respect this. As customary in the hospitality industry, a cleaning and de-fumigation surcharge of at least $300 will be added to the bill in case of inadvertence to this policy.
Food
Kindly advise us of any food sensitivities and we will do our best to accommodate you; however many of our rooms offer individual refrigerators, so we invite you to bring any specialized snacks you may prefer. As a general rule we do not serve meat products for breakfast.
Children
Some rooms are not suited to those younger than 10 years of age. Please call us for information (413) 637-4800 before you make a reservation.
Pets
We LOVE pets but are not yet equipped to offer pet-friendly accommodations.
Spirits
As we have a liquor license, it is a violation of Massachusetts State law for alcohol not purchased through our license to be consumed on the property.
Check In
Check-in is 4pm – 7pm. Please contact us at (413) 637-4800 if you plan to arrive later than 7pm so we don’t worry you got lost and make arrangements accordingly.
Rates
Advertised rates are based on two-person occupancy. There is a per-night charge of $30 in *allowable rooms (fire code considerations) per extra person. However, in line with our vision for an improved economy, kindly contact us to learn more about our special family rates.
Forms of Payment
Visa/MC/Discover/AmEx /Cash/Personal check (check must be received 14 days prior to intended stay; reservation status considered open/unconfirmed until that time.
Deposit
We require a deposit of 50% of the room charge at time of reservation. A one night stay requires a full room charge deposit.
Cancellations
The Cornell abides by a $35.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date in order to receive a full refund minus the cancellation fee. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days in advance will be charged for the first night at the booking fee,
unless we rent the room to another guest - in which case we will refund the full deposit minus the cancellation fee.
Exception: In the event of cancellation for urgent medical necessity or a family emergency, please feel free to select another time that suits you and the cancellation fee will be waived.
Refunds
Refunds for cancellations are granted less the applicable cancellation fee.
